Actually iirc they mount them deep within the engine bay, usually near the alternator

hmmm i thought it may be one of those new amps that are inside the tire and create a cyclone out of the electrical signal adding about 15 db's.

Followed the wires into behind a panel and i'd rather just know where it is than rip panels off till i find it.

it is usually right infront of the radiator fan

you cant get to it unless the car is running

mitsubishi did a good job hiding them

well there is a tiny black box under the passenger seat but i was thinking it is a power supply for the heated seats or something. its only about the size of a cell phone and we are talking about a 4ch 450watt amp, so i don't think that's it.
