Stock stereo install - wiring?

I am installing a stock AM/FM deck into my company trailer ( where I spend 10 hours of my day). So, obviously there never was a car stereo before I am left with the task of figuring out the wiring of the new deck. I'll get to model / SN#'s. The deck is almost a cube 4" x 4" x 3". It's a GM model.

My point is that I want to find a wiring diagram w/o going to the store to purchase a harness kit from the store that I wouldn't need to use anyhow.

The deck is a Delco from 21 June 1994; part number16161954. The wiring is as follows:

1) White 8-wire harness: green, orange, yellow, brown/white, yellow, black

2) Black 8-wire harness: tan/black, black

3) Black 5-wire harness: grey, green, black

It lacks an standard antenna plug-in, so which wire is ant., LR, LF, RR, RF etc.

Please point me in the right direction to hunt for a schematic.

Thank you,

Jeremy

A Chiltons or Haynes Manual for the vehicle the radio came from would have this information in the wiring and electronics section. You may also ask your local GM Dealer. Your best bet, is still to purchase the wire harness and incorperate that into your install for easy disconnect also allowing future upgrades with ease if desired.

take it easy,
