Stock Stereo...HELP

Ok so i got the two SA-12s in the back of trunk, but unfortunatley i have a new 2011 with a stock head unit. I was just wondering if the stock head unit prevents the subwoofers from there full potential. Theyre hooked up with a lineout converter. I had two alpines in my older suv with an alpine head unit and they were much louder. Is that because of the head unit?

What kinda car and does it haves premium system stock. I'm using a nicer req5 which is just a bit better than the average loc and I can get stupid loud not comp loud but for 1 low power 12 it's loud

some cars have an Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) system that will try to eliminate the extra bass. if your vehicle has that feature, you need to defeat it.

some cars have a bass limiting system that reduces bass as volume goes up, to protect factory speakers. if your vehicle has that feature, you want a bass restoration product that will compensate.

each vehicle is different. placement of subwoofers determines performance. where the sub is and where the listener is determine the extent of phase interference the listener will experience - from minimal to severe.

Tag the rear speakers if it's not a hatch they may be 6x9 in the deck and u should be fine.

My 2011 cruze doesn't have any processing for the bass other than the adjusting u can do In The head unit. But just cause I could I got behid the factory radio and spliced all the wires needed for sound and ran them to my req5 I the kick with some 9wire. The req5 has a bass restoration feature though I dont use it and it's a high quality loc/line driver with a few extra crossovers and such.

Just run the rcas to the alpine that will make a difference cause of the quality in an alpine. Man I wish my kits werent so expensive and were out right now cause I want an indash so f'n bad. I hate having a stock radio

Lucky!! my wire harness will be around 300 and the dash kit will be around 50 not to mention the antenna adapter. It'll cost me around 1500 for my nav unit installed by me. Give or take a little depending on the radio I want
