Stock Speaker Specifications

I have researched trying to find out my stock speakers wattage and impedance. I have a 1996 Grand Cherokee Laredo with Infinity Gold Stock Speakers with a aftermarket amp. I am trying to figure out the wattage mostly because I can just use a multimeter to get ohm reading. I would much appreciate any asst =)

are you measuring at the speaker terminals or behind the head unit? some Infinity systems use amplifiers - sometimes mounted on each speaker. as a result, you'll get a very high resistance measured behind the head unit.

Well I didn't measure anything yet, I had to rip out the stock amp because of complications of it being a weird amp and it was broke anyway. So the speakers get powered by nothing but my aftermarket bolt amp but I have to see what the ohms and watts are so if I can see if I can hook it to my deck
