Stock honda Civic 1.5 non-vtech

will rewinding the alt. make it less dependeble or even unsafe. also, if i get it rewound, wht will the amps be on an average rewind job for an alt. And at those amps, will the volts stay the same or will they increse, bc i dont want them to.

Red Top for your starting battery, Yellow Top for an accessory, stereo-dedicated battery.

You can also talk to Dominick Iraggi (dominick@tds.net) about an alt, I got a 200amp alt from him for $289

Red is for primary engine.. but.. Hondas have a smaller size battery...and i dont know if Optima makes the red top for the civics but i have seen the civic yellow tops....theirs a guy on here that either works for Optima or has something t do w/ Optima.. try to find his thread and talk w/ him...

With very little modifcation you can take an alternator off of an newer model V6 Honda Accord to put on your car. Not sure how many amps in puts out but surely much better than stock. You can probably get one from the junk yard cheap.

newer V6 Honda Accord puts out 130A i believe, or 100A, forget, but somewhere between them too.

Civics put out 70A i believe.

i dunno the specs for the lanzar, but if it draws a lot of current then yes u 'lll need to upgrade.

just hook the amp up, and see how much dimamge u get.
