Stock alternator is 145 amps, enough bang with extra batts?

I am just looking for opinions before I buy the 270a. I won't be running at full tilt very often at all. I won't even be demoing it very often. Just for me to work and back and on drives to the store, running errands etc.. The electrical is almost costing more than my subs and amp..

absolutely. the power needs to be stored somewhere.

with mine, im never really going over over 1/4 power, it mite see 1/2 at most riding around. the only time mine will see full tilt is at a comp for about 1min & 30secs.

Go with a 270amp alt and a 100ah battery, with 3500watts @ 12volts your amp will be ******* close to 300amps, say goodbye to your stock alt.
