it's made by Odyssey who does a lot of other brand batteries. this is a Gel battery that can go in any angles and is way better than the Optimas. It's tiny but packs a wallop. I upgraded my battery to a big honker for my system. this is great for a smaller sound system or great starting battery. It is 8 months old and I've tested it to ensure that it's holding its charge.
