I couldnt decide on the hc2400 or SPV70 as well... But now i have 4 SPV70s coming my way. If price is an issue just get a nice used battery. In your case your not running a ton of power so a HC2400, SPV70, Deka G31, or any large case battery will do fine for you. Find the best deal that is nice to the pocket book and go with that.. I think there is a SPV70 going for $100 plus shipping.. And also a few HC2400's going for $160 + sh....... Those deals may be gone by now though.. Either way GL in your search.
