Still Need Help!!!!! Type R Ported Box

I DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT SUB WOOFER BOXES... CAN SOMEONE HELP ME DESIGN A PORTED BOX FOR 2 TYPE R's???? I GOT A SUV SO SIZE IS NO PROB.... I LISTEN TO HIP HOP... I WANT THIS BOX TO PERFECTLY COMPLIMENT THE SUBS!!! PLEASE HELP ME PUT IT TOGETHER! IM A GOOD DUDE, I ALWAYS LEND A HAND TO ONE IN NEED, DONT HATE AND HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

No one will hate really, just a quick question

A) What amp are you going to be powering them with, out of curiousity

B) Are you willing to pay someone a little bit of cash to design a box for you? That's the best/easiest way to get your box correctly designed.

use box calculator, get specs off alpine and it will make a cut sheet as well...GL

Are they type-R 10's, 12's, or 15's?

Did you know that if you dowload the

trpe-R manual, it gives exact box specs

down to the measurements.

Some may find those specs a little on the

small side though.

Double the measuements for 2 woofers

or make two individual chambers each as described in

the pdf.

i got 2 1222d 2ohm type r 12's and a mrp-1000 alpine amp... I listen to hip hop... I bought in a sealed box, i need a ported box, will have made custom, I wanna know what box will be best, cu/ft, hz, ports/ port size ect.... alpine recomands .75 to 2.0 per sub, i heard 2.2 per sub was "sweet spot", via this forum.... if you guys can help me spec the box, ill stfu and leave u all alone, god bless.... I JUST WANNA MAKE SURE MY BOX IS A-1.

I would do 2.5 cubes each , with the tuning around 35hz and about 70-80 sq inches of port area. Subs facing up and single port in the middle facing back . can't really go wrong with that box. will surely beat your sealed box lol
