Properly designed, properly tuned box with input at said tuning freq wil have less impedance rise... Doesn't mean bigger smaller. Doesn't mean louder, I see plenty of people rising into 6 ohm territory from 1 ohm still make 155dB...

Test that 10k at 1ohms to compare once you get the more battery power. A single hc800 isn't cutting it. lol
