Stetsom 7KD amp testing!!!

I just thought I'd share my results with everyone on here....I tested a Stetsom 7kd with 2-Sundown Audio Night shade 12's. They were wired at 1ohm to the amp. I did the test in my crx using my stock pepboys battery with the car running. Here are the results.................

AC Volts----109

Amps--------19

DC start voltage---13.53

Voltage Drop----10.55

Spl on TermLab---149.2Db

Not bad with the rise considered.... I personally have gotten 1200 watts from the SAZ-1500D @ 2 ohms (rise to 2 ohms from .8)... Was very impressed seeing as how it was only rated for 800x1 @ 2 ohms...

We will do some testing with the 7k Stetsom amp soon in a bigger system with plenty of power and less rise... Just waiting on one to get here.....

Is it the 16v Stetsom, and do you think you can get a more stable electrical with it? I don't think it'll last that long with that pepboys battery, and i don't think the amp will be the first to go out.

Edit: How small was the box too? Thats a good amount of rise, have you tried other burp frequencys to try and get a lower load?

No, it's the 12volt version.

2.5 cubes for both subs. I'm going to add more batteries. I just did this test just to mess around. I'm sure if I added more batteries my spl would go up alot and my box rise would go down.

I have both subs in 2.5 cubes.
