Stetsom 4k2d: TL'd and Clamped!

Isn't high voltage Class D a totally different design from most of the 1 ohm, high current Class D amps? My jaw hit the floor when I saw the specs on the Stetsom's transistors

And if I'm not mistaken I've always been told more voltage is better on keeping coils cool then more amperage.

Glad you got a good improvement. How does the amp work for daily listening at high levels? I've always been weary of getting a Stetsom amp because it just seems like it'd be impossible to cool properly with such a small heatsink. Burps wouldn't be a big deal, but 30+ minutes at high volume is what I'm worried about.

Ive taken several 8hr+ trips with my 4k2d bumping and it barely gets warm to the touch. No problems with this amp daily.
