Stetsom 10KD Amp testing "2800 watts at 9volts!!!!"

I hope Jeff can also clarify that the 10KD is the exact same amp as the 7KD with the exceptionof DUAL power / ground inputs.

This is what I was told by Hugo personally at FINALS.

Only difference from the 7k2d and 10k is the 10k is 18v capable, dual power and ground inputs and and is strappable. 10k gets it's name of 10k power at 16v @ 1ohms.

there are several things different between them! one of the factors is that the bank of caps @ the end of the amp was relocated under the copper bus bar of the toroidal`s this improved on energy transfer.

To clear that up and simplify that statement. To give the amp dual power ground inputs a bank of caps had to be moved.

thats about what I got when I tested the 7kd in my comp car I got around 6k, this is why I liked the zenon 7k board better 12v-18volts out of the box. The stetsom was down a few tenths compared to the Atomic and the Stetsom was burped first, bat charged burped with the Atomic with the my 12volt comp car. The Atomic was a bit more efficient (could run 2 amps strapped on one battery) where im not sure I could of ran 2 stetsoms on one battery since I only had one Stetsom to test in my application. Again this was with a modded stetsom 7kd just around when they first came out so take this information with a grain of salt im sure stetsom made some improvements.

But keep in mind that this is the new 7k2d/10k board. A lot different than the old 7kd's. New design is more efficient and more power. And yes the atomic 5000.1 was more efficient in my test too compared to my 7kd 12v. But thanks for sharing.
