Stereo or mono

What is the best way to hook up 2 single coil 4 ohm woofers. Should I run a 2 channel amp or a single mono amp. I'm looking to buy a new amp for this project. Thanks

i have a nice 1000 watt polk pa amp ,very mint .any way prolly 3-400 rms each , you need an amp that runs at 2 ohms or 1 ohm that will give you your rms ratings ,maybe a tad more

Will that amp run 2 of these Polk MM12's? I know the 2- 4 ohms will make a 2 ohm load. My question is will that amp run that load ok. How much do you want for it?

it will its 1000 rms at 1 ohms and 500 rms at 2 ohms .my sons amp he wants 200 shipped .has been ran for just a couple of hours only

two 4 ohm subs make a one ohm load. His amp is 1000 rms at 1 ohm so it would work out for those subs.

2 d4 subs make a 1 ohm load, his subs are s4 subs so 2 ohms will be the final impedance

His subs are 500 rms ea. So hes going to need 1k-1.1k rms at 2ohms to push them to their fullest
