Stereo Noise With Ipod touch

Im running a kenwood x397 head unit using the usb input to play my ipod and every few seconds there is a faint popping/clicking noise.. Does anyone else have a similar issue ?

Have you tried a different cable or checking your dock connector on the ipod? I've had a dirty connector and bad cables give me issues before.

Yes I have tried 3 different cables from all different brands. I have cleaned all connections even on the iPod itself. Some days it doesn't happen but sometimes it does.

I'd see if I could find another ipod to try in your car and see if it gives you the same problem.
