Stereo Makes Frequency sound after car is turned off...sounds like Aliens talking!

I recently installed my second amp on a distributor block for the front and dash speakers...Now when I turn my truck off after about 5-10 second I get a strange brief frequency sound like aliens are trying to communicate...

Someone said this may be being caused by back powering?? How do I check or does anyone know a solution?

My speakers also make a sound with the engine rpm's so I am guessing that problem is related to a bad grounding location???

report it too Area 51, theyll have to repo your car lol. try moving your ground you never no.

Sound with engine RPM's = alternator wine.

Move your ground further away from the alternator, or make a better ground (sand the ground point area.)

If you've done this and it's still happening, your alternator is probably going bad (or already was), pull your alternator and go to oriellys or autozone to have it tested.

As for the sound once the amp turns off, it could be related to grounding as well; never had it happen so can't say.

its either engine whine, or your power is hazy. one of my power wires came uncrimped slightly, (found it like ten min later so no damage thank god) and so power was fluctuating alot. it made that sound. check all your connections

Girlfriends car does this too when the gain is too high, it hums about 40 hz full blast when the car turns off, either have to turn the gain down or keep ignition on. I think its a crappy high/lo rca converter.

Turn the car on to accessory mode, Not all the way on like engine running. Turn if off, Do you still get the sound? that would rule out alternator
