stereo integrity subs

It's not quite dead... but it was thermal. The tinsels, spider, cone, etc are all pretty much like new. I don't know how anyone ever damaged these parts... I had them in a giant box, like 5 cubes, tuned to 50 Hz for testing... unloading them under turning all the time.
Anyway, its only kinda blown //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif One coil on one sub reads lower than it should, sub still plays and amp didn't go into protection but that one starting moving farther and smoke came out of my box.
Lol, what will it be replaced with, or is it going to be reconed?

I believe Jacob has replaced them with Nightshade's.

Jacob using the Mag's to test with wasn't the best use for a Mag IMO, but I love the fact that he did it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Talk about good information! Knowing that your subs can take over 1500 watts over a broad range of signals (most of them under the tuning of the enclosure) for years and years at a time really lets you know what happens when people send in a blown Mag with the notion of "I only sent it 600 watts." //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

cheesemind, i would say try tuning a little lower for the BM if you want lower frequencies. I had my BM in 2 cubes at 29 hz, and the lows were nice, but it wasn't as loud as the 2.1 cube 34hz box that i have now. I might try 2 cubes at 32 for a better balance for me. I also have about 800w on mine, so you could probably throw a couple more watts on it.

Also, i will sell you mine, so you can have three sealed BM 12's. that would be loud! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Old BMs should NEVER EVER be run sealed, just not a good sealed sub. It's weird that you don't think they have low end, I think my subs pound the low end. I know Nick owns the company but I trust him and he said the F3 for the BMs ported at 34Hz should be lower than 20 Hz anyway.

he said he wanted sealed, so that is why i mentioned it. They do play the lows, but not as low as other subs that i have had like the RL-P, diamond tdx, and gulp, the ED 130v.2 in the 29hz box.

dont buy from me? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif wont affect me at all.. si and ed=cheap garbage. carry on with the silly little love fest you got goin on here:)
And I'm assuming these "US" companies that you so admirably back (whatever company/companies they may be) use custom-tooled in the US steel, magnets, baskets, and soft parts?
