Ok, so just finished up my sonosub rebuild (minus the carpet).

I had the same sub a smaller sonosub enclosure previously, 4.5 @ 22hz. however due to budget issues at the time the sub was moved into my car after selling my previous car subs. So i went with no sub in my ht setup for the last three years (the axioms put out some pretty decent bass alone).

I found another used Mag V3" 15" for sale at the right price and jumped on it, as they are not made anymore. I love these subs, have never heard better SQ while being so **** loud. It is insane in my car. So i decided to rebuilt my sonosub, but make it a true LLT enclosure. So i refurbished the existing endcaps and changed the leg style from wood dowels to 3/8" threaded rod run through 0.750" diameter tubes with nuts on either end (Counter-bored bottom).

Stereo Integrity Mag 15" V3 D2

9.5 Cuft (260l)

17" with 6" Aeroports and 6" PVC (25" Long)

58.5" Long 20" Dia Sonotube

4" Long 3/4" Dia Aluminum Legs

Just got it setup today and hooked up to my Behringer EP4000 Bridged to 4 ohm (2000 watts rms) and this sub could take all the amp could dish out!! was clipping the amp before the sub hit full excursion. (those clip lights really help). Also was dimming my room lights a good bit! to bad no "big three" wiring upgrade for the house lol...

Playing some music i was able to hit 120db in my listening posistion (8 ft away) room is 12X12X7

Very happy! now i just have to get my Behringer DSP1124 Feedback controller calibrated based on my room, and will soon have a Behringer MIC2200 on the way in order to set a 15hz high pass filter (didnt know the DSP1124 only went down to 20hz when i purchased it)

I was originally planning on building a twin someday. This is still my parents house (im 23) and it is already too loud for them... When i get my own house in the next couple years i will be building another with the matching sub that is in my car and upgrade my car sub. I had thought about powering each with a channel of the EP4000 (1000watts RMS) but now i see that is clearly not enough power, so will be getting another EP4000 for when i undertake that project!

overall, very happy with the rebuild, sounds great now just need to get some carpet and get it calibrated based on the room.

Let me know what you guys think!
