It was compared to JL Audio W7s recieving double their rated power in optimum ported enlcosures. The SI Mag was in 1.5 cubes sealed with 450 watts RMS.

It's been gone over a dozen times. The review is bias, carelessly put together, and totally inaccurate.

no respect. IMO, its still a little over priced of a woofer. But of course my stand point is from a poor *** college student who is too obsessed about car audio for his own good. I know when im financially more stable i wont mind paying extra buck for quality.

No, I understand. To an extent I agree. However at another look it will walk all over a lot of $250 woofers, and a lot of $500 woofers as well which does justify the price. I just wish it played higher, y'know? Throw at least a little more midbass ability in there.

Nope. We haven't sent a driver to any magazine before this issue of CA&E. Subjective SQ on a driver rated at 950 with 300 watts scoring a 73 out of 100 isn't too bad.

However, the begining of the article is completely false. Again, we are not a shop out of upper state NY.

Electro: I'm sure by now enough email has been sent to get his attention. BUT, should the need arise, I can spoof emails pretty convincingly. Nothing says "revisit a woofer" like an angry email from a wife / girlfriend / sponsor. >=)

I did a review of it myself recently and gave it 9/10 useing two seperate sealed boxes and some metal for reference. I'll try ported as soon as I have the resources to do so. Great work on the speaker. Not perfect yet, but close.
