hmm wat do you mean by dead space?
deadspace = volume in the box that is pretty much useless due to the design.

I think what he is referring to is the areas around the port. due to the port placement not taking up a side of the box, there is a chance that a lot of that area (either directly at the center of the port or all the way at the end) is not being utilized, thus, actually lowering the "actual" or "used" internal volume of the box.

Long story short, the tuning could be off from what you think it is, but if it sounds good to you, thats a big //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

for example, i probably have two areas of dead space in my box (where it is the most thin, right at the front), but in terms of the overall design, it is quite miniscule. As for your box, the port placement gives potential for a loss to a lot of dead space

oh, and that is a sweet lookin ranger. I miss my lifted explorer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
well it gets pretty **** low and sounds good im planning to doing a new design soon using external aeros to eliminate all of the deadspace //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Agree with hispl. TC sounds soft parts were few and far between years ago. If you’re wanting to run two TC based subs you may be better off...
