Station wagon vs. Sedan!?

Hey yo, i just want to ask and start a discussion on what the best car to be used to SPL (dB drag) etc... events. What creates the loudest and best frequencies?

Like does a lot more sound need to be created in a larger space such as a station wagon to be louder on the mic?, so i would think sedan's would be good, if trunk size was good for a large box, im just tryin to work out a car to buy that would be most suitable for sound offs, etc.. and create best SPL! Perhaps a hatchback ? Trunks are ok.

i don't compete or anything but i noticed when i had my system in a s-10 blazer it seemed louder than in the trunk of my car but i never had either measured i'm just going by my ear.

A car with fold down seats will be prettymuch the same as a wagon, except for box sizes. Hatchbacks with quite sleek angles on them (example 80s camaros) are usually good for stereos.

i think it will be louder in a station wagon than in a trunk of a sedan. with a SW it's like a whole cabin. kinda like in SUVs n stuff. i mean some trunks r worse than others too, so u gotta consider that too when u talkin bout this

I haven't really considered hatchbacks as they dont really have the trunk area size, for an alright sized box!?

Ya i can say that station wagon's do sound pretty awesome because they have a larger area for sound to reverberate in... but have heard some pretty loud sedan vehicles as well!

A 240SX is pretty close to a skyline..
