sorry to say that there is a couple coal mines, many trona mines(is put in all glass products, arm & hammer products is 90% trona (powder products only). There is also large amounts of natural gas wells there. The last thing that is produced/grown is large amounts of cattle ranches.

Sorry had to do it and yes i use to live there.

missouri is a good state, its not one of the top 10 but it is pretty nice. The weather is awesome here, we get huge storms and alot of snow so it keeps it interesting weather wise. Also, the St. Louis Cardinals is a huge thing here, not to mention the chiefs. Missouri has some good sports teams for sure and a couple big cities. Also, the Ozarks are nice if you ever want to bring the boats out and just hang out for a while during the summer. I think the worst state is either iowa or kansas, my neighbors! HA! What is there to to in iowa, when i went there i felt like i was going to die of bordom.

x2 on Missouri. The best public land turkey hunting I have ever seen in my life. One morning this past Spring me and my dad heard something like 16 birds gobbling. Crazy!

depends where you go in North Jersey, Hit Morris County and you have one of the single richest counties in the United States, tons of open space, very beautiful. A lot of smaller towns.

How about we just merge the dakotas into 1? thats technically getting rid of one... 49 states.
