you can dream all you want. you make a good point except you dont own or cant afford any of those cars:laugh:Why would i spend 15-20 k on a new piece of shit car thats only gonna lose value when i can get something like a 69 camaro or chevelle or gto or something for that much, throw a big *** motor in it and pwn every other car out there for that much? Incase you didnt know, old cars gain value, new cars lose it. Cars made back then are selling for 10-20-30 times what they cost originally, lets see you sell a stock honda civic for 500k?
If i payed 140 a month i would kill myself. I drive a 2000 focus, im 17 and under my dads policy. And i pay about 450 a half. And this year ill be getting good driver/good student policy i assume as im not 18 they can't see my tickets. I have 2 tickets but i don't think they are legally alowed to do anything about it. But they 2nd ticket goes away in 3 months once i donate 60 cans and i already payed the 110 court cost lol. But good student is like 20 percent or something. So like 410 a half so like 70 bucks a month. HA
Turbo right? still cheaper then what I was paying //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifi have state farm and pay just under $200/month because of the car i have and my age. i hate state farm.

I never thought of it like that.. Thats really true haha. If you even see like a cavalier, They aren't that old even. Like 15 years or so. if you come across a first year cavalier they are all complete rust buckets. No matter how nice you tried to keep it. But then you can look at a lot of the older cars, and a lot will be in a lot better shape than that. Which I find weird. But i guess quality was better than quantity back then. Too bad for our generationLets see what your ford explorer looks like 40 years from now, and then well see whos cars built better. Stupid ****s like you keep the economy going though, good job.
$110 a month, full coverage on 4 vehicles plus my SPL van is insured for $25,000. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I believe I have State Farm as wel.
nice logic, because life revolves around 0-60 timesWhy would i spend 15-20 k on a new piece of shit car thats only gonna lose value when i can get something like a 69 camaro or chevelle or gto or something, throw a big *** motor in it and pwn every other car out there for that much? this topic was not about my explorer being worth more then a muscle car, i never once implied that. the topic was about low payments for insurance. i was simply stating a true fact. you dont pay much because the cars are not worth anything. my explorer however is fairly new and worth alot more then your cars, this costing me more in insurance. your making it seem like just because your worthless cars is allowing you to have extremely cheap insurance payments, that anyone can get that price regardless of there car new or old. i know in 40 years my explorer wont be nothing but scrap metal but you wont catch me losing a nights sleep over it.Sure i cant afford them right now, i dont even have a full time job yet and havent finished college or anything, but you can bet your *** when i have 30k to throw away on a car it wont be an import. I didnt start this thread to argue, i started this thread to inform people about state farm to help people. I see theres a couple people that dont like old cars, why the need to insult though? Old cars have been and always will be built better/nicer than newer cars, back when GM and ford and the other companies were worth a ****. I think that ended after about 1972. New cars are about building the car as cheap as possible, while giving the customer the "expected worth" out of the vehicle. Its all about money now, sad really. You can have your new cars though, i wont insult you for driving them, enjoy it. You own a true piece of history with your 04 explorer, people will remember that truck for years to come.
that is pure bullshit.Thats **** good, from everyone i talked to about state farm its by far the cheapest. My neighbor has an 03 mustang gt and i think he pays around 40$ a month for full coverage on it, and hes had several accidents.
