State Farm Insurance FTMFW

op you do understand what basic coverage is right? 10k pip insurance. it won't cover your car in an accident you cause. it will cover the damage you do to others thats it.. oh and if your AUDIO gets stolen.. hell I bet it won't even cover your car being stolen.. just the audio
not to mention medical coverage and that if he hurts someone in the accident and they sue he is screwed

have fun having your wages garnished for the rest of your life

Why would i spend 15-20 k on a new piece of shit car thats only gonna lose value when i can get something like a 69 camaro or chevelle or gto or something, throw a big *** motor in it and pwn every other car out there for that much? Incase you didnt know, old cars gain value, new cars lose it. Cars made back then are selling for 10-20-30 times what they cost originally, lets see you sell a stock honda civic for 500k?
you do understand that has to do with inflation as well right? i truly hope you aren't that dumb.. A car back then that cost 1000 if you held it to this day in good/great condition will be 10k plus obviously.. look at gas food metal everything went up. not just because its an old car.. Ya sure that adds a little but only for collector cars..

no it will cover personal injury and property to whomever/whatever he hits.. won't cover his *** though.. basic insurance is for those that either A. drive a car that regular insurance would cost more than the car in one month...

B. doesn't drive it enough to worry about or

C. doesn't think they will cause an accident

OP went nowhere with this thread. he thinks he is getting a good deal on cars that are worth absoloutely nothing. he is paying them for to be road legal and cover someone elses ***, thats it.

OP = fail

true, it will cover them to a certain dollar amount, something crazy low like $10k on basic coverage

that will probably only pay for the ambulance ride to the hospital and for the doctor to stick a thermometer in their ***

after that their insurance needs to cover it and who do you think they are gonna come after to get the money back...

it isnt the just value of your car you are protecting, it is your whole net worth and in some respects your future in this "sue happy" society.

i always put full coverage 100/300k on my cars, i pay like $55 month i think, but there was a time when i was paying $325 month

'05 Nissan Titan KC: $413.78/ 6 months = $68.96/ mo. State Farm. I also have my house & boat insured through them, & my live-in chick also insures her car separately with them.

I do not have extra coverage for my single sealed 10 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

that is pure bullshit.
If he's old enough, has a flawless driving record, has a high enough deductible, drives under a certain per year mileage threshhold, it could be true.

There are lots of key variables that no one's mentioning here.

yeah but he also said the driver has had '"several accidents". there is no way. no insurance company in there right mind would do that.

I've been with State Farm for almost 20 years now...

I've always thought my rates were high, but I've called around and could not find any reputable places that could beat my rates by more than 5 bucks or so a month so I've stuck with them...

Also, the few times that I've had incidents (my fault or someone elses) and need to involve State Farm they really took care of me, quicky with no hassels... So, thats a plus for keeping them..

When I get a chance, I'll look up what I pay...

I have

Full coverage on a 2000 S-10 Blazer 2 Door

Liability on a 1996 GMC Sonoma ex-cab

Home Insurance

I see some people were talking about the coverage and all that, im aware liability doesnt cover if i wreck the car myself, thats why i drive careful. My policy reads as this

Liability bodily injury 50,000/100,000

Property damage 50,000

Medical Payments 25,000

Uninsured Vehicle Bodily Injury 50,000/100,000

Property Damage 50,000

Not sure what all that means, but thats what my policy says, in the letter i got today.
