Starting new. Any advice?

I've decided that I'm gonna get my CDL and try life as a truck driver. Other than just filling out applications, does anyone have and advice on breaking into the business with absolutely no experience?
Find a company that is willing to send u to school and offer u a job right afterwards. After a year or two with them move to something better. Idk bout were you are but down here l.a.d.e.q. And l.a.d.o.t. Have gotten rediculous on placarded trucks so hazardous loads are a pita. Walmart or the yellow truck co., may be a good place to start. Ups is also good on rig drivers. And I'm not talking bout delivery the tandem load drivers.

One thing to remember is to always check you blind spots if possible and remember the little car always wins. I know I'm saying stuff u already know but one bad screwup and you could end up killing someone and landing yourself in jail. It's alot more serious of a job than most people think
