Starting from scratch with 2004 accord sedan

Hi everybody.

Well I traded my truck in because I got tired of paying out the wazoo for gas. And I got a little more fuel friendly '04 honda accord. I would like to start fresh and get a top notch sound quality system in it...new hu....front and rear speakers... perhaps a single 12" sub in the trunk.

I was wondering if any of you folks live around the Longview, TX area. If so then I was wondering if you could possibly help me design a nice sounding system....maybe build a sub box and/or some fiberglassing work. I would pay whatever you feel is appropriate.

Thanks

I've never heard of hertz, critical mass, or audison. I appreciate the information, however I just looked at the critical mass website and good grief! That sub is rated at 2500 watts rms. I don't need anywhere near that kind of power handling. I was thinking more along the lines of 400 or 500 rms for the sub for some nice full bottom end. I am not a superboomer.

hertz and audison make awesome! products, they wont dispoint, and the RE SE will perfect. i have one with 600 watts on tap and its perfect for all types of music and can still make some dam good noise when i play Bass Mekanik

CAE just did a review on the Hertz comps.. here it is

http://www.caraudiomag.com/features/cae_0709_hertz_mille_mlk_165/index.html

and yes, i have heard them myself and the audison amps.... sweet stuff, very sweet. a local shop owner and i spent about a hour listening and chattin to the entire hertz line off audison amps. good times....

Nice looking products. Unfortunately out of my price range. I will have to settle for good quality instead of top notch quality. I wish there were someone on here that lived around me that could actually look at my car and see what all can be done.

You never gave a price range.... That is the first place to start. Tell people how much you want to spend (unless price is not an issue) and then tell them what you want.
