Those braces are worthless.
Looks like little scraps of MDF glued to a giant sheet of wood. You definitely gotta beef up the bracing if you want to control any flexing.

I don't know shit about building boxes, but I can tell you that those look like some pretty weak *** braces that won't do a whole lot, put some real braces in there.
