do you think the Rangers had a better chance?
Not the way they were playing.

I think the Rangers still have to add a few pieces, and a couple players need to develop for them to get further in the future..

I also think the Pens are in big trouble in the next few years when it comes time to lock people into contracts...I think they're going to have to drop a ton of money into Cindy and Malkin, and if MAF proves that he is the kind of goalie he was during the playoffs, he'll want a big contract as well.

Crosby is the NHL's version of Joba Chamberlain

but Sidney has real talent

it aint his fault that the media (and the NHL) is on his bozack
They dubbed him "the next one" You know, he is good, he has moves, but man.... no matter what channel you watched and how badly the Pens got beat it was constantly Crosby Crosby Crosby. Got old after a few games of it.

Not meaning to take a jab at Pens fans.. But who saw Malkin just knealing on the blue line for like 2 minutes with his head down after the game? He was a complete no show in the finals, and could have made all the diffrence in the series had he played to his potential. Perhaps he was injured, and it will be reported soon, but man hopefully it isnt something he dwells on for years to come.

Malkin took an early vacation...the Pens really needed him

What was great about this series is how all you heard from pre game shows and not to mention the commentators was PITT, PITT, PITT and Crosby, Crosby, Crosby. I didn't really care that much because I knew the Red Wings had what it took to do it but sure does get old. I'm just glad this is over and we can exhale and celebrate.

..... as for the Rangers... I WANT MY SHANAHAN BACK DAMMIT!
He helped the Red Wings win 3 cups but the Red Wings went with youth and speed for the most part. I would say it has paid off.

The Red Wings are VERY resilient in the fact when the league changed so did they and they didn't experience a dip like alot of teams did.

They haven't experienced a dip in 15+ years now. They have made a seamless transition from Yzerman/ Fedorov/ Shanahan to Datsyuk and Zetterberg. One thing I worry about is replacing a guy like Lidstrom, but I'm sure the team will find a way to compete after Lidstrom retires.

mannnnnn Parade in Friday... I will be in Norwalk, OH drag racing trying to get my dad on Pinks All Out
I don't have any cash, but I do have the pink slip to my car
