Stage 1....Wiring a 300/4

Hey guys, I'm trying to run my whole system on a jl 300/4 until I get the funds for a dedicated sub amp. I have alpine type r components in front, type r 2 ways in the back and an infinity perfect 12 in the trunk. I am planning on following this diagram http://mobile.jlaudio.com/pdfs/SYS_4.pdf

Should i use the same resistors? The specs on my speakers seem to be very simliar.

You can either do just as your diagram shows, or you could simply leave out the rear fill until you get your sub amp.

I assume you mean 8 ohm resistors, Radio Shack should have them. You do not need them unless you are trying to set your 2 ways as 'rear-fill' only, and in that case just use your hu to power them.
