Heya all. Im doing 2 runs of 4awg for my two amps and wondering can i just crimp the battery side's with ring terminals and stack them on top of each other on the battery?? Or what other options do I have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ? Thanks for any help!

Well thered be the bolt holding them down tight right on each other so they wouldn't move at all, I just wondered if I can stack them and theyll be okay?

as stated before, that doesn't sound like a good idea, just do it the right way the first time, and be done with it, too easy for it to touch something else in the engine compartment, and don't tell me your gonna cover that with electrical tape to keep the elements from it......

right now, i am stacking 1/0 on top of 4 awg and using the nut to hold it together, and so far it really hasn't given me any problems.

But soon, i will need to find a battery terminal that can ba compatible with my factory wiring and crap.

i am also running two runs of power wire. 1/0 and 4 awg. Those both are going straight to my Positive (+). I then stick together both ring terminals (1/0 and 4 awg) and then i lay it on the positive battery terminal. Then i used the factory NUT to tighten it.

well what if there isnt a battery terminal to cover all your wiring needs and stacking is your only hope?
um, if all your doing is running 2 4 awg runs, there is definately a terminal out there, there's specific wiring terminals with nuts on them just for what you wanna do, matter fact, i'm gonna go to ford here really soon, and find out how much the ring terminal thats on my truck right now costs, because i wouldn't mind having a second one for when i upgrade to a optima with side posts.

precisely what i was able to do, i've got about 3-4 ring terminals stacked on top of my stock wiring terminal because ford was nice enough to put a 1" long threaded terminal on there just for stacking ring terminals, and i can still fit 1 or 2 more terminals on there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
