i was talking to a traffic cop at college today inbetween class, and i asked about what is most likely to get you pulled over for excessive audio volume.

his response was that most officers measure (as such) volume by how much the rear view mirror shakes.

so any ideas about how to stabilize it???

I've never heard of that, Florida's "rule" is if it can be heard from 20 feet away, you're done.

Where in florida are you?

I tried super gluing mine in place, but the bead of glue broke loose after a couple days.

as far as stablizing i was trying to reduce the vibration, glue wouldnt help. it isnt falling down.

i know that is not the law, that is just what he said he looks for.\

Pasco.

mine broke months ago. Guess I'm not gonna get any more tickets //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I need to do something to mine it starts turning sideways. At least it has not fallen of yet, I didn't ever get one to stay up in my van. Ill try small zip ties around the ball joints maybe the tension will help
