ssoo embarrassing

and told i dont know what im doing with my system. Well im sorry i dont know as much about car audio as you. congratz
People are saying that because you obviously have no fucking clue what you're doing if your amp goes into protect on a regular basis. It's not difficult to comprehend, and the fact that you're becoming overly defensive, to the point that you're lashing out, just makes me -- and I'm sure others -- not try to help you.

You obviously don't know how to set gain if you said it "wasn't cranked".

If you'd like help, I'd suggest giving up the attitude and admitting some humility.

I just trying to prove a point. I post a story that i thought i was funny. Now instead of people replying trying to help or sharing similar experinces i get 4 groans, told i get cant girls, made fun of for my name, and told i dont know what im doing with my system.

Like i said, there must be something wrong with the amp. Gain isnt even half way up. i hear no distortion or anything from the subs. i may need better wires. I also suggest you go back and re-read the replys. I didnt start the conflict

There's definitely something wrong, yes. Again, set your gains correctly. That Kenwood amp is probably not great, and because of that, you can't just set the gains based on ear, especially if you're new to car audio.

Do you know what distortion sounds like? What kind of wiring do you have? And you did start the conflict, in our conversation. I was simply informing you that you can't know what you're doing and not know what's wrong at the same time...

Gain needs to be set in a specific way. The easiest(and cheapest) way is to use a digital multi-meter. I'm sure there's a sticky somewhere on this site describing how to properly set them.

To say something that's been said countless times on this forum, gain is not a volume knob.

Upgrading the amp to at least half the subs rated power. If there 1200 rms and your running a 250 rms your barely even knocking the dust of of those subs therefore putting a heavier draw on the amp in return higker heat load from said load.make sure your wire is sized right for the amp u run ie 4ga = 100a 8ga = 40a .

Wow i come on here to post a funny story and get a bunch of hate replys? Who sais i was trying to impress them i was driving minding my own business and THEY SAID TO TURN IT UP. why did i get so many groans you guys need to lighten up
Or you need to stop being a dbag and bumping at stop lights
