There are a few good woofers in the 1kw range. What is your budget,music preference, available space and goals.

My budget is not fully determined yet. I am mainly looking at subs for now, but might go full car sometime in the next year. For Wiring kit, sub, amp, and box, maybe in the ball park of $750 for everything (give or take a bit, since I can piece together parts over time).

Music preference is based highly on my mood. A majority of the time it is old school rap, what people call rap, and trap music. Then islander music such as J Boog, Common Kings, etc.

Available space is just my trunk in my car. I believe max height is 16 inches, and max width is 30 inches. Depth, I'd prefer to leave room for my cargo net, but I don't have that measured yet. I can later tonight.

My main goal is great low end sound, and am leaning towards SQ over SPL, since my current set up sounds terrible in SQ department. So, I have no idea if I want ported or sealed.
