Need some help. which is better? SA or the orions? whats also the difference for the dual 1ohm and the dual 2ohms for the SA?

will the SOUNDSTREAM TA1.3000D 6000W MONO BLOCK CLASS D CAR AUDIO 0.5 OHM AMPLIFIER AMP do the job? gonna buy 2pcs of each sub.

Sundown will walk all Over Orion... the difference between 1ohm and 2ohm is just the coil. You would want d2ohm woofers if you plan to run your amp at .5ohm... hope you have the electrical to run your amp at .5ohm and you would want like four of those soundstream amps on two nightshades for there full potential.

All of this is a complete mess (gonna be hard to fully explain this).
You listed two competition subwoofers that are going to require at least 1000 dollars worth of electrical upgrades to run well (the two subs you posted are mostly found in SPL competitions where people are metering there car and trying to get the loudest setup possible, it's not exactly what I would consider a daily driver setup). These subs run on cars that have $3,000-4,000 dollars just on car audio alone (seems a TAD overkill for a daily driver soccer mom car).

You then listed a amplifier that will not do rated power and will not run at .5 ohms (not a god awful amp but it does low 2000 watts and is very power hungry/not that efficient).

You need to figure out your budget, what size subs you want, how many you want, and how loud you really want to get (also how much do you care for sound quality and how much money are you investing in your front speakers ?). You also have to factor in custom box (you don't want to buy a prefab box).

If your goal isn't doing competitions then your currently not even close to ballpark right now with selection

Actually that amp he listed is .5ohm stable. It yea it seems he doesn't know what he's getting into. Just for that amp I would want big three done with big agm batt under hood and two g31 batts in the rear with stock alt.

im planning on spending 5000$ or more on my setup. im gonna put this set up on a Hyundai Tucson 2012. I want it to be a headturner car. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif my current setup now is running on 150-152db. i dont really know the audio brands in the US and its confusing me lol.

i saw the soundstream amps on ebay and amazon and it amazes for the price and the power it gives lol. im looking for other amps that is cheaper than the SA amps also. because my last resort is going SA Straight setup or HCCA straight setup if i cannot find any decent amps.

My goal by the way is having a Loud and Clear setup. having super mids and super subs that will hit atleast 145db. i dont want the bass to step over my mids btw.

You totally aint ready to run something this big bro. Not even close

Those amps are junk compared to the actual amps you need to properly run the nsv3s. Look up ampere tfe 9.0 or dc audio 10k. Those are the amps you use to power these subs. Not those chinese cheapo soundstreams with grossly overrated power and efficiency

With the soundstreams and the nsv3s, its like using arco 87 unleaded on a Lamborghini Gallardo. Feeding a good sub dirty power

You need dual alts because i doubt you can even fit a proper alt bigger than 270 amps in that small car.

You will need

Lithium ion 40 amp hour batts which are about 1.2k each

Or 6 group 31 agm batteries which are 200 to 350 each which weigh 100 each so youll need to buy new shocks with this route.

Oh and what setup is that? How and where did you meter that 150-152?

You can do all that with 2500 dollars half the amount you want to spend

80 prs for 250

Crescendo un 6.5s with image dynamics xs28 tweets. For 200

Alphard 130x4 4 channel for 200

Two sundown sa 12s. 450,

Soundqubed 2200.2 450

Big 3, wire and install 150

Extra group 31 batt 300

Custom well designed box 300

These are overestimated prices, you can get better deals if you use the classifieds and do the setup for less than 1500 and it will hit 145 and get loud and clear without having to upgrade shocks or doing multiple alternator brackets etc.. Efficiency and knowleflsge beats out people carelessly throwing money at something they have no knowledge in. A guy with a flea market setup can absolutely crush your setup if you dont build the box right or tune and setup your mids and highs properly
