Going after sound quaility and some spl , anyone have any input on these? Have them , heard them , personal experience with them? Other recommended subwoofers?

I'd reccomend the DD 3500 Series, some people don't like them, but I've loved mine from the 1000, 1500, 2500, and 3500 series.

My bro is sponsored by dd , but ive always heard they werent sound quality subs , but spl. They sounded alright to me , strong *** hell. Just going after Accurate base , clean sounding.

Never heard a W7, but my guess is they'd be pretty similar, the JL might like the lows a little more, but the DD can play them with authority if you tune in the 31-33hz range.

How about a zcon? Roughly the same price as The Sundown Z and I'd bet it has the potential to get louder a

Yeah but ive heard dd , they sound good and all , get loud like a motha fucka , but im going after sound quality. that extremely clean bass n accuracy

U can get better sq from dd by building a box to suite ur needs ..but yes most ppl like me use dd cuz they r loud as **** and can handle lots of power..how many subs are u wanting to run

The JBL will probably offer the best SQ If you have the power, I say get the Zv3

Yea my buddy has a zv3 15 they r nasty loud but sound good...just depends on ur setup and how much power u r usin

Had Xcon and Z, both in proper box on 1000rms, in my experience the z was a bit (not much) louder than the Xcon. the Xcon had the better sq. the xcon will require a bigger box to work properly. Both subs hit the lows with authority.

Never owned the jbl or DD but I've heard the same thing about DD. they are spl subs and don't do we'll on the lows.
