SSA 18" Sealed question....

SSA Zcon 18

Will this sub sound okay sealed? I don't care if I lose a bit of output. I'm wanting to downsize my box to have a little space and selling/shipping this thing is probably going to be a little too expensive.

We don't really suggest it, but it could work. Check out the enclosure suggestions for the Xcon and lean on the larger side.

It sucks in a sealed application unless the box is ultra large but still its not gonna be as good as it can be, that was the case with my zcon 12. In a sealed box, it hit little to no lows at all, mainly midbass and some 40-50hz along with it.

Just don't crank the gain up trying to make it loud!! Lol
