SS Tarantula Monoblock vs Orion D5000

Ok guys, I will be running 2 Konaki 1207 Subs that will give me either a 2 ohm or .5 ohm load (dual 2's). Which would be better to run. The soundstream is not the newer crap, this is the old big chrome mono block amp with the handles. I found one new in the box, never been powered up. Or I can get the Orion for around 10 dollars more, let me know what you guys think. This is the link to the soundstream incase you don't remember this bad boy!

the s.s. loooks pretty beefy,was never a fan of the newer "o"fryin' amps.

Those SS amps are bada*s, if u can pick one up for a decent price go for it.

 

The newer Orions are garbage and they are just progressively going downhill each year.

There is a certain executive at DEI who swears that the new Orion amplifiers are built better than the old. Of course he skirted the issue when I asked him why many of the Orion amps built in the late 80s and early 90s are still functioning whereas the ones made by DEI tend to go tits up in one to three years.
