Squezing 3 18's - Diamond port?? 4th Order?

just gonna wait to hear some more constructive build ideas, see if I can find any otehr builds with this diamond shape port. I dont know if tuning is affected at all or if they play music nicely or not

Normally diamond type enclosures are sealed, but can behave a lil like a 4th order. the only trye porteddiamond that I've seen was that Ascendant Astro with 12 18" mayhems, the ports were on each side, then the diamond with the subs were in the middle. Something like this from the front... IIII ...The "I"s representing the ports and the "" representig the sub baffles.

I actually thought about it for a second. I'll sketch my idea up real quick so you can see what I mean.

Just to give you an idea what was going through my mind.

Keep in mind, these measurements are not exact, just kinda thrown in, I think the circles are like 19" in diameter, and the box shown would be way too small, and not finished lol.

So arrange the subs like that, and to a slot or rectangle port above, those baffles are only like 22" high there, but could be how ever tall you wanted theoretically...Just a rough sketch to give you some ideas. IfI didn't have to be to ber 30 minutes ago I would to a better sketch lol. Having to wake up at 5AM to get to the gym before class gets annoying lol.

I thought of doing a front baffle where the middle sub was recessed in a bit like you have pictured and the 2 outer subs were folded a bit. Cause then all 3 would fit across the bottom. Only problem I see is that the AQ's have like 10" mounting depth and those sides look a little shallow lol

And like you said that would only take like 20" of height or so.

I'll mod your design and try and see if I can add a port to that somehow
