Loudest Street C car I saw was a rex but I dont recall the score. Wasnt much louder than the street B car IIRC though.

I just crunched some numbers

Give this box a try

15" high, 11 deep, 23 wide internal dimentions

Two 4" aeros 19'' long facing back, sub on the passenger side facing forward ports on the drive side facing back. Start with the box as far forward as possible and move it back and forth, side to side to see how much you gain.

I havent worked in a CRX for the meter in a while and when I was I was doing bandpass boxes with Type R's for the AC mic. But I geustimated some wave path lengths and you will be in phase with that box on the passenger side windsheild in the low 50's.

I just want a little more port area around 50 besides, testing doesnt hurt anything but time and wood. And I cant improve if Im not willing to change...

Change and testing is always good. If you want more port area buy another aero ports...you dont see many street cars not using them. It's fora reason.

you have to have SOME knowledge lol

says who???? I dropped my old box in and gained 3db right off the bat from my neons trunk:laugh: with my neons electrical, just ran a longer wire, dropped it in burped it.

I have an 8" aeroport that I made. 50 sq. in. of port area.

I think my next ports that I use wil be 6" Aero. Im not giving up on the 4", just going to try out 6"ers..

its all about testing and tuning,and having a term helps alot.

I run 2 4" aeros for the BTL 12"

seem to work fine
