sql woofers!

I have 400watts rms to throw at a single woofer and am having difficulties choosing a sub. I would prefer a single 12, however, with only 400 watts I am not sure I would have enough power to get the perfomance I am looking for. I am intrested in SQ, but, I also wouldn't mind a little spl. As for the box I am not limited in space so I can run ported or sealed. I have been looking at the following subs Diamond D6, IDQ and RL-i(10in).

Any sugestion????

you really need more power,esp for a D6 which is an awsome SQL sub but wants easily 700-800 watts,and is my fav right now

RL-i is definatly NOT and SQL sub,esp a 10" - I really dont know what it is,but it aint loud thats for sure...

IDQ's I hear great things about and also a JLW6

You'd be fine with 400 watts, I think.

Try a JL 12w6v2. Those are rated at 400 watts rms, according to JL.

That would definately give you a nice clean sound and get loud too.

I just so happen to have a jl 12w6v2 as well, they are rated at 400, will get loud with less or more as well. Very very nice this is my second pair my first 2 i had running at 1k a piece and it was very loud and sounded great these 2 now I am running around 600 a piece and the sound excellent as well but I have ran them off 400 and they do sound amazing I just sold one and the other one is for sale if your interested email me at ckustyn@verizon.net no pms please.
