SQL Subwoofer(s)

Im looking for new subs. Something that will make my pair of 12" sx's on 2k seem like nothing.

I have an atomic 3000.1 to work with for power i think it does 3k @ 1 ohm, maybe 3.2k.

I have room for 2 12's ported, 1 15 ported, 2 15's sealed and 1 18 sealed. basically i can do 6 cubes sealed and 5 cubes ported.

My budget isint exactly set but i would like to keep it under $600 for the sub(s)

I would get a pair of Sundown Nightshades if I were in your position.
edit: They may not be classified as "sql" but I've read many reviews saying they sound "like ***" and someone with a 4 door volvo hit 150 with a pair of 12's and a saz3000d I believe.

Jake hit a 151.9 with a stock 15" Nightshade in his Jeep.

Im running two 8500 12s with only 1000 for both and they get plenty loud. IDK if u can run 3k to them though =\

ok so i think i want nightshades then or somthnig similar to them. they handle the 1500 ill be giving them daily and they are daily SPL subs which is what i looking for. If anyone has modded night shades 12's i want them.

I'm pretty sure you will be fine with 1500 to each stock nightshade.

yea i know. but i figure that if i get modded ones they will probably last longer and i heard that the models with the longer coil have better low end response.

but either way im looking for d1 nightshade 12's.

just pick up my 18" Treo SSX, throw it in a 4-5cuft ported box and call it a day. 2500wRMS daily and 5000+ if you're feeling gitty and have the man juice. In my honda off a MM3000 i was doing 144 daily and 146.8 at 38hz. That's with a box tuned to 24hz and only half the port space needed. Your Atomic 3000 is a perfect match to beat this daily.

seems pretty loud. of course i drive a trunk car that i much bigger than yours but still i cant beleive that 18 drops that low in that small of a box 4 cubes for an 18 ported is tiny. how much?
