HDC tuned to 35hz in 4 cubes will do all that you want. Turn it down some and it'll blend fine with your front stage and crank it up when you're in the mood.

I have HDC's and a Q and I prefer the SQ of the HDC's as the Q is a tad bottom heavy (meaning boomy at times).

Yes i did. There's a bunch of info on the 20.1 inch one but that doesn't help me at all.

it might just be the alignment of your box that caused it to be boomy.

around 3.8 @ 32Hz for the Q which is right in line with FI specs. It still sounds very good, but I prefer the sound of the HDC's in my set up.

the Q's do have an incredible bottom end, and to some i guess it would be overbearing, but in a slightly smaller lower tuned box (try to flatten out the frequency response a bit) they will get stupid low without being too booming
