I am looking for a SQL Sub and have narrowed it down to the.......

JBL GTI 12 or 15 possibly 2 10's

IA Death row 12,15 or 18

IA Flatlyne 12 or 15

What ever I sub I get I will run the recommended RMS as well as Recommended box. This will be going in a extra Cab tacoma

the GTI subs hands down....I got a basement full of subs and the

GTI's are by far the best IMO...

in the right box you would be shocked on how tight they sound and

they can handle 2x their rated RMS

That is a good addition, if one can be found used, or OP can hold out a little longer.

I just happen to have a pair of 10" dual 2 ohm ICONS BNIB at the moment

I was concidering bumping up to the 12" ....so I may part with these if someone

were to twist my arm hard enough

I have not had a chance to test the 10" but I installed a pair of

12" in a buddies truck a few weeks ago and he is really happy

with them..they friggin slam out the deep notes

What do ya know.... I have a BNIB 12" sitting around too. LOL. Have to keep it around for pics though.... If I can ever get the dual 12 box done.

I was actually considering the G5 tell I heard one at a car audio place. Not sure how many watts they were giving it, but it reminded me too much of my JL 10w2v2. This is when i realized that I want SQL and not just SQ. RIght now I am running a 12 Type R and it doesn't have any SQ at all. I was also considering the Boston SPG55 but the price is a little high and I couldn't find any on ebay.

The Mach 5 IXL series is also a very good line of subage

but don't like how they can only be wired down to 3 ohms

cause it's a dual 6

DoOd, you should try the G5, because:

I am sure that kills a lot of sales. Of course, there are amps that would match up but I don't want to go swapping up amps just to meet those specs.
