I would feel comfortable sending it 350 no problem, although I'm sure you know what the signs of stress on a sub sounds likeIf I were to buy an idq 10" about how many watts would it safely handle in a sealed box? I know ID sais 250 but somthin tells me a little more would do no harm
whats wrong with those? According to the great 12 challenge, and after talking to many people who have tested and owned them, I hear that they have superb SQ. I cant really say though, never heard it myself.
Thats my problem....I dont have a way to hear any subs besides kenwood, treo,jl,planet audio, and best buy and circuit city brands.........The only ones of these that I would consider are jl and treo but Im not really big on either of thosewhats wrong with those? dollar/watt really only applies to amps in terms of price to performance. I could care less how much power a sub can handle, it's totally an afterthought, at least for me. Honestly, I'd rather have a sub that can only handle a modest amount of power, the first few 100 watts is where it's at anyway, plus it means you don't have to spend as much on the amp.I'm sorry it doesnt....what I meant by all the stuff about the Rainbow is basically do they sound that good to pay $400 for a 350RMS subwoofer?
