i thnk over 500 each or over 1000 for both, not sure though.

that is correct ...smallest amp i heard those on that sounded like it should is a rf 800.2 or a soundstream 700 ......more power the more umph they have and they are musical to boot

dd in sq? do you realize how mellow they are when you set them up for sq? bostons would be better imo, oz, kove kld, jl.................. long list here from elemental designs to adire audio..............

You can push the bostons with 100x2 if you wanted. I think they will handle 700w max.

they will handle a ton more than 700 the ten even does..... we hooked up (when i sold them) single 12's to rockford 1000's a couple times was really awesome

Using a boatload of artificial signal enhancement to get to a listening design wouldn't equate to SQ to me... You shouldn't need to use a lot of EQing to get a subwoofer to sound proper...
