SQ Subs?

yeah my man, if two 12w6v2s dont get you going, you want SPL.... i am sorry. 1 12w6v2 on 500rms provides wonderful SQ and very decent output.
SPL= sound pressure level (loud)

SQ= blends well with mids and highs (covers all sub notes with quickness, reliability, and efficiency.)

I think its because when I had the 2 jl's I used a alpine amp and wasn't able to tune it really well with the stock deck.

my Dayton H.O. ten satisfies me in terms of SQ and it also has a wild side to it. i wouldn't put more than 600 watts on each one though. maybe you could do a few of them.

i have one in .7net tuned to 30hz on 620 watts rms and i absolutely love it!

what are your goals with new subs? Looking to dramatically get more output? better sq? what is your current box, set up, i'm sure you'll be able to just change your box and be completely satisfied with your results.
