How do you tell if your coax speakers are blown?
I have some new infinity 6.5 kappas that sound good at low to medium volumes, but at higher levels they sound "weird". No popping or anything, just less than optimum. They are in the rear deck for fill, and no fronts or subs are installed yet, so I hear only the coaxes.....
They are powered of off an Alpine PDX 4.100 amp (120 actual watts). Could they be overdriven, blown, or just poor sounding? They are OK until medium volume. How do you decide where the sound quality issues are originating?
