with 3kw I think SQ should be the last thing on your mind. Don't clip it too bad and it shouldn't sound worse than any other class D

Well its nearly impossible to find any real specs from their website. And everything I've seen on this forum is from fanboys with no data to back anything up.

I think they are good for the price. But because they are so cheap, they most likely have a high THD.

I wouldn't buy this amp for anything except rap music.

There are subtle differences between Class D amps, usually dealing with higher sampling rate and analog reconstruction of the discretized signal. Atleast that's what my understanding is.

But in all seriousness... have you heard a 3kw car audio system before???

At 3kw, you won't be able to tell an SQ difference... Even at 1kw, it's tough to tell much difference, until you get to clipping.

As is repeated over and over on this forum, it's all about the box. Select a power range, and get quality equipment for that... then it's 90% box size, tuning, and build quality.

Edit: the THD probably is higher on this, compared to other amps. If you look at the guts, it's really simple... which usually means there isn't much control circuitry, filtering, etc. I also haven't tested this amp at higher frequencies, but iirc, the manual it goes from 16 - 180 Hz...

it is a class D amp if u want power with sq get a high current class a/b and a few batteries..

class a/b high current will have a higher dampening factor which controls the woofer cone. ur looking for sql i would look at least zap 9.0 or us amps 2000x...

x2. From hifonics to us amps to kicker, this audiopipe sounds just like those others. I really don't see why you care about sq at 3k.
