ive been looking around for one too. for a 1500 to 2000 @1ohm.

you should get the aq1200,saz1500, rd1250 i think or rd1200

its not gonna matter if its sq oriented or not at that power level, you're not gonna be able to tell the difference.

first off you will never use 1500wrms in a SQ system. #2 low impedence is not your friend in SQ

Maybe my sq is not the same as your sq? Just because you set your amps up to be judged, and are declared the most SQ oriented doesn't really mean shit to me. Anywho, I can use an amp at 4 ohms too.

Wasn't offended, just maybe what I think sounds good isn't what the judges at your sq comps think sound good. When I go to a metal concert the speakers aren't setup to play 130dbs, and have as flat a response as possible. When I go home my ears are ringing, and I like to jam out loud as piss. Maybe people can't hear the difference in SQ at 1500 watts, I don't really care. I didn't make this thread to debate sq, tube amps, class ab vs class D, and all that crap. I made it for suggestions on amps, and that's it.

since you said SQ i'll say Audison 1.1k or Arc Audio SE, or Hertz HP line. i know none of them are what you want though. if its like the rest of ca.com your looking at whats already been stated

Oh I know. I've been looking at things like US amps ax line, Zapco c2k, etc. I don't mind paying money for good things. I'm actually waiting for a zapco 4.0x to end on ebay, if it goes for what they have been lately I might just grab that. I think it ends tomorrow.

TREO's SSX line is great for SQ somewhat pricey but well worth it, my 750.1 is one of the cleanest amps i have ever used, i couldnt be happier with it
