SPS-4629 install?

I just installed the alpine 4x6 S Type (SPS-4629) speakers in my '89 240sx. I spliced the stock wires, caped em with maretts (after i joined em with the wiring that came in the alpine box) and wraped electrical tape around the maretts. I haven't installed speakers before so i don't know if i did it right.

To the problem, the speakers make a slight buzz when the volume and bass is high, is that the speaker or my bad installation? I have an alpine deck (40Wx4) and a cd changer as well.

you might want to check you positive and negative wires and see if you wired them right, because if they are backwards then your speaker is playing backwards and that is why you hear a buzzing sound . if that is not it then you might have a blown speaker.

check for something touching the cone on either side too. Or it could be your putting too much bass into them tiny cones.
